The Finance Department is responsible for the Association’s accounts, the execution of financial transactions within the approved budget, subject to the Honorary Treasurer and Finance Committee.
The Finance Department is responsible for presenting the annual budget to the Honorary Treasurer; planning the income and expenses and overseeing the proper execution of the budget during the year.
By virtue of his position, the Comptroller of the Association participates regularly in the meetings of the Tender Committee the meetings of the Finance Committee, and organizes the data for the committees responsible for the execution of the decisions of these Committees after their approval by the IFA’s Secretariat. The Director of the Finance Department supplies each Head of delegation with written procedures detailing the proper funds management while an FA delegation is abroad. The Finance Department is responsible for receiving a written financial report from the Head of Delegation upon its return, and conducting a check and finalizing the report. The Division is responsible for the financial arrangements, calculations and accounts in connection with hosting visiting teams or national teams as well as, trips of the national teams and delegations abroad, foreign currency, etc. The Finance Department is responsible for the control and management of tickets, book-keeping connected to this subject and also teams accounts.
The Department is also responsible for the daily banking activity and according to necessity also with other institutions such as: income tax, national insurance, Sport Authority, and the like.
