Welcome to the new internet website of the Israel Football Association.
Several months ago, I assumed my new position as chairman of the Israel Football Association and have both the honor and responsibility of heading one of the most important organizations in Israeli sports and public life. Despite years of involvement in various aspects of the game at club, league and Association levels, I am hugely exited at taking on this most challenging role and I hope I will be able to make a difference for the better. Israeli football is desperate for a boost which will allow it to unleash its great hidden potential and see it flourish and attain the great heights for which we all yearn. I am a great believer in Israeli football and in the Israeli footballer and I have no doubt that the time is right for a new era both domestically and at international level. Israel’s national teams all face important tasks from the very top, through the Under 21’s, the Under 19’s and the Women’s national teams. I wish them all, the players, the coaches and the support staff much success in confronting their challenges and achieving their aims. Competent and professional management, setting long-term objectives, plenty of hard work, faith and applying the appropriate resources will see our teams gain success. But in order to reach these goals, they all require the support and encouragement of the fans. The FA’s new website has been created with new, advanced technology, which gives the most detailed, updated information as well as official statistics, disciplinary decisions, facts about the national teams and all the various leagues which take place week in week out across the country. The website contains extensive and exclusive coverage of goal scorers, bookings, league tables and practically every statistic fact a football fan might be interested in. Amongst some of the new sites’ features, one can find:
• Reports on the IFA activities and the operation of all the leagues – Youth, Kids etc’; • Reports on the activities of the national teams (A team, U-21’s, U-19’s, U-18’s, U-17’s, U-16’s, Women, WU-19’s and WU-17’s) • Reports on the IFA’s international activities with FIFA, UEFA and other associations • Services and support to the clubs and teams affiliated to the Association. Such services include information on the clubs’ activities as well as various facts regarding players in addition to a download center for forms. As part of its targets the IFA’s site gives clubs the opportunity to conduct some of its registration by ‘remote control’ as opposed to physically arriving at the IFA headquarters.
I wish everyone happy and fruitful surfing and to the teams, success in the forthcoming season. |
